“That’s the one thing Auburn and Auburn people have always instinctively known and should never forget. We don’t need Matt Hayes or Mel Kiper or Craig James or Rece Davis or ESPN or FoxSports or Brent Musberger or Kirk Herbstriet to validate us.
We are Auburn. That’s all that matters, not what somebody on the outside thinks or doesn’t think.
We are not defined or limited by the perceptions of others. We don’t need a T-shirt from Wal Mart boasting about things that never were to boost our ego. We don’t use our battle cry as a taunt to prop up our self-esteem. Our sense of worth isn’t determined by the number of stickers and flags we can put on our car.
We are who we are. We are what we are. We do what we do. And we’re damn proud of it.”

to all the new followers coming in! You guys are awesome!
Message me anytime you want, with any questions, comments, needs, etc. I’m here for you!
Sorry I took so long to reply! I was at Auburn’s Leadershape!
But as far as rushing goes for guys, it is much more relaxed. There are plenty of ways to get in contact with different fraternities around campus. The easiest way would be to sign up for Rush, online through their sign up form. I did this over the summer, if you go this route, be prepared for text messages both over the summer and through the school year from the rush chairs of the fraternities.
Then there are summer rush events, this is probably only an option for those who live near Auburn, or wherever they have their events. It’s a great opportunity to meet and great with those in the fraternity, and also get a bid.
Another route would be to wait until formal rush, which is August 27 - 30th, and will most likely be in the Student Center.
Other than that, it’s all about finding a fraternity that fits you most, and then securing a bid from said fraternity. (Also, during formal rush, you will need to dress up, so be sure to bring a blazer, dress shirt, and khakis!)
As far as the best fraternity, I dont think I can really say which is best. It’s all about where you really fit in, and feel comfortable. There are those that you hear about more, but I dont think there are any that are more popular than the others.
Hope this helps! War Eagle!!

“365 days, that was my tenure.
But for some strange reason, it felt like I’ve always been here.
All the blood, sweat and tears it took to get this,
I’ll always honor and cherish this.
My road to the top had a couple pit stops,
but during my time at Auburn, The love of the Auburn family would not let my morale drop.
Greatness was what I strived for, and greatness was what I got.
The mentality of an Auburn man took me to the top.
Some people will never understand the feeling of what it means to be an Auburn man,
But I’m lucky enough to be able to raise my right hand and be able to say, ‘I can!’
My time at Auburn, I don’t know if it could have been any better.
Man, was it great.
(Listen to this, Bo).
We won an SEC Title, a National Championship,
and oh yeah, we beat that team, 27 to 28.
As a wise man once said, “this place, as in Auburn, was great way before you were thought of” (Coach Chizik)
And this place is where I will always love.
So as I share this day with two of Auburn’s beloved,
I want to end by saying War Eagle, and I believe in Auburn and love it.”-Cam Newton
